Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2525.20

Opportunity:

RN - ER/Med Surg

Job Details:

* Work 48 hours per week with 12-hour shifts
* Every other weekend and holiday required
* 3 call shifts required within a 13-week contract
* Float between Emergency Room and Medical Surgical units
* Function independently in the ER and in Med/Surg unit with up to 5 patients
* Med/Surg nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 3 to 4 to 1 depending on census and acuity
* Unit consists of 25 beds
* Charting system: EPIC
* Equipment utilized includes Sanford One Charge and Pyxis
* Training includes EPIC computer training, 1 day of ER training, and 1 day of Med/Surg training
* Dress code: Navy scrubs with no logos; white undershirt or white lab coat permitted
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
* Minimum 6 months of Med/Surg experience in the past year required
* Minimum 6 months of ER experience in the past year required
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), TNCC
* PALS required
* BSN not required
* Acute care setting

This acute care facility operates both an Emergency Room and a Medical Surgical unit, providing comprehensive inpatient and emergency care services to the surrounding community. The facility utilizes modern charting and medication management systems to support clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care. Clinicians are expected to float between departments, making this an excellent opportunity for those with diverse nursing experience.
