RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (start time may flex)
* Every other weekend requirement
* Holiday shifts required
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* 11 beds with 1 trauma bay in the Emergency Department
* Approximately 35 patients seen per day
* Primary placement at St. Elizabeth Hospital - Enumclaw, WA with potential to float throughout Region II including St. Clare Hospital - Lakewood, WA and St. Joseph Medical Center - Tacoma, WA; additional $20/hour when floated to non-primary facility
* First to float designation
* Charting system: EPIC
* Work with Puritan Bennett PB980 ventilators
* One ED provider on site 24 hours per day
* Phlebotomists available for lab draws; IV team available during business hours
* Respiratory therapy available 24/7
* Critical Access Hospital (CAH) facility
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks

Facility:

This Critical Access Hospital operates a full-service Emergency Department with 11 beds and a dedicated trauma bay, serving approximately 35 patients per day. The facility uses EPIC as its electronic medical records system and provides around-the-clock emergency physician coverage. As part of a larger regional healthcare network, staff may have the opportunity to work across multiple facilities within the region, offering a dynamic and well-supported clinical environment.
