Job Details:

* Work in a 17-room operating room environment on the 2nd floor
* Day shift hours begin at 6:45 AM with huddles on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; shift ends at 5:15 PM
* No second shift relief available
* On-call approximately 4 times per month, Monday through Friday only with no weekend call required
* Most call shifts consist of staying over to finish cases
* Large joint and spine orthopedic experience required
* Proficiency in total joints and spine procedures strongly preferred
* Perform all orthopedic procedures including large joints, hand, feet, scopes, and spine (no neurosurgery)
* Work alongside one scrub and one circulator per room with support techs available for positioning and other duties
* Most surgeons have a PA/CST/NP to assist during surgery
* EMR system used is Meditech
* Required scrub color is Ciel Blue (sky blue) - scrubs are NOT provided by the facility
* Free parking available in the parking garage for contractors

This orthopedic specialty facility operates 17 operating rooms and a 1-bed emergency room, though it is not trauma designated. The facility maintains a staff of approximately 70 and is recognized for top employee and physician engagement, as well as consistently achieving greater than 90% patient satisfaction scores. The unit is overseen by a Director, Manager, and Board Runner structure to ensure smooth daily operations.
