Job Details:

* Weekend position working 3x12-hour shifts Friday through Sunday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* No on-call responsibilities
* Average daily census of 60 patients
* Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility
* Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract period
* Block scheduling not available; maximum of 7 days of requested time off
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R, Kansas state radiology license
* Epic EMR and Change PACS experience required
* Must be proficient with Siemens and GE scanners (64-slice)
* Required skills include: Adult Acute Care, ICU, ER, PACS, abdomen/pelvis/chest with and without contrast, vascular chest (pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), carotid, head with and without contrast, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head, 3D rendering (maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, volume rendering), multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), region of interest measurement (ROI), isolation precautions, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety, brain perfusion, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy

This facility is a large health system offering comprehensive radiology and CT imaging services supported by a full interdisciplinary team. The department utilizes advanced Siemens and GE 64-slice scanners alongside Epic EMR and Change PACS systems to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging. The organization supports a broad patient population across multiple age groups and maintains a collaborative environment with access to respiratory, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response services.
