Opportunity:

OB/GYN Medical Assistant (MA)

Job Details:

* 4x10-hour shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with alternating days off each week
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 6 months of experience in an adult outpatient setting required; OB/GYN experience is a plus
* Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) preferred; Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) will be considered
* Washington State MA-C or MA-R license required
* BLS certification required
* EPIC charting experience required
* Attire: Scrubs or business casual
* Perform special procedures including MUA, Colposcopy, LEEP, and IUD insertion
* Assist with adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations
* Skills required include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, recording history/medications/allergies, venipuncture, telephone triage, immunizations, specimen labeling, suture removal, blood glucose via glucometer, nebulizer treatments, hearing screenings, vision testing, pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, and follow-up phone calls
* Daily census of approximately 19 patients across 14 rooms

This outpatient OB/GYN specialty clinic provides comprehensive women's health services in a focused clinical environment. The facility supports a diverse patient population including adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with a daily census of approximately 19 patients. The clinic utilizes EPIC as its electronic health records system and offers interpretation services as interdisciplinary support.
