Open Position: RN - ICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2728.40

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts with variable shift days
* Weekend coverage required with 26 weekend shifts per contract
* Ability to float to other facilities within the health system as needed
* 2 years of ICU experience required with a 2:1 patient to nurse ratio
* BSN required
* Prior travel experience within the last 12 months required
* Prior teaching hospital experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS
* California RN license required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics with a 2:1 patient ratio
* Required skills include: arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, vasoactive and cardiac drip titration, blood product administration, ICP monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring, management of multisystem organ dysfunction, and additional advanced ICU competencies

Facility:

This facility is a nationally recognized academic medical center offering a full spectrum of advanced clinical care, research, and education. The ICU unit consists of 16 beds with a daily census of 8 to 9 patients and is supported by an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, phlebotomy, interpretation services, and patient transportation.
