Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Details:

* Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
* May be required to work major holidays
* Required to pick up one additional shift during each schedule period (every 4 weeks)
* May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
* Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients including their families and caregivers
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process
* Work in an extremely busy and fast-paced environment with Level 2 trauma center volume and pace
* Coordinate care between other professionals as needed
* Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
* Prior travel experience of at least one 13-week assignment required
* Nevada RN license required prior to start
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS

Facility:

This facility is an extremely busy and fast-paced 800 inpatient bed hospital serving a 500-mile radius. It operates as a Level 2 trauma center with stroke accreditation and 80 emergency room beds, functioning at the volume and pace of a Level 1 trauma center. The facility is the only trauma center between Sacramento and Salt Lake City, treating over 80,000 ER and trauma patients annually. It is home to the region's only children's hospital, a leading robotic surgery institute, groundbreaking brain and nerve care, and comprehensive heart and cancer services. The facility also features state-of-the-art technologies including the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, dedicated PET/CT scanner, Biplane Angiography, and 3T MRI technologies.
