Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts with varied start times
* Mid shifts start at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM, with additional 8-hour and 12-hour shift options
* Call required: 1-2 weeknights per week and weekend call approximately once per month from end of shift Friday through 6:30 AM Monday
* Every other weekend (EOW) requirement covered by call
* Holidays covered by call
* First to float policy applies
* Patient ratio is 1:1
* EMR system: Cerner Surginet
* Charting system: Cerner
* Common diagnoses and patient types include CABG, valve procedures, pacers, lead extractions, and lung cases
* OR Techs available on unit
* Scrubs are provided by the hospital
* Telemetry system: Philips
* Ventilator experience required
* Respiratory therapy available 24/7
* Pharmacy available 24/7
* Floor-specific orientation: 1 shift with a preceptor
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: BLS Certification

This acute care facility operates a cardiovascular operating room supported by a well-structured leadership team including a Clinical Supervisor, OR Director, and OR Manager. The facility utilizes Cerner Surginet as its EMR platform and maintains robust ancillary support including 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services. The organization is equipped to handle a wide range of complex cardiovascular and surgical cases, providing a high level of care in a well-resourced environment.
