Job Details:

* 5x8 hour shifts with start times of 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, or 2:45 PM
* Work in a 20-room OR suite performing 40-50 cases per day
* Required case types include CVOR, spine, orthopedics, vascular, general surgery, and robotics
* XI robotics experience preferred
* On-call required as needed
* Floating within scope required as needed to meet facility needs
* Weekends required on an as-needed basis only
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA
* Required work setting experience: CVOR, General OR, and Hybrid OR
* Required cardiovascular case skills: Aortic Aneurysm repair, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), and Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)
* Required vascular case skills: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic assisted cases, TEVAR, and Vein stripping
* Required thoracic case skills: Laparoscopic assisted cases, Lung resection/Thoracotomy, and VATS
* Required professional knowledge and skills: Aseptic Technique, Isolation Precautions, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, Sharps Safety, Specimen Handling/Labeling, Sterilization/Disinfection, and Universal Protocol (Time Out) Procedure
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: Epic (Excellian)

This acute care teaching hospital operates with 317 staffed beds and holds a Level 3 trauma designation. The facility features a large surgical services department with 20 operating rooms handling a high volume of 40-50 cases per day across a wide range of specialties including cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic, and robotic surgery.
