Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts available with rotating weekend requirements
* No on-call required
* No block schedules required
* Patient ratio of 1:5 with 6 patients per nurse on days, nights, and weekends
* Position may float between units and potentially between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* At least 1 year of charge experience required
* Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Charting system: Epic (preferred)
* Scrub color: Any color
* No parking fee
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC; NRP preferred
* Treats patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Must be comfortable managing a wide range of emergency conditions including cardiac dysrhythmias, stroke, trauma, pediatric emergencies, behavioral health, and procedural sedation
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process prior to start
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal

Facility:

This is a Critical Access Hospital with 23 total staffed beds, providing essential healthcare services to the surrounding community. The emergency department features 7 rooms and 11 beds with a daily census of approximately 16 patients. The facility offers robust interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy, ensuring comprehensive care for patients of all ages across a wide range of emergency conditions.
