Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2472.60

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule with shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Weekend coverage required on an as-needed basis with 6 weekend shifts per contract
* Treat adolescent and adult patient populations
* Float coverage required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* No first-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted
* Community hospital experience required
* Epic charting system experience preferred and must be noted in work history
* Required certifications: BLS (must be in-hand when applying)
* Required skills: Acute Care, Assessment, Bed Alarms, Call Lights, Crutches, Evaluation, Gait Belt, Hoyer Lift, Plan of Care, Reassessments, Shoulder Slings, Sit to Stand Lift, Sliding Boards, Standard Walker, and Wheelchair Assessment
* Lift team interdisciplinary support available
* Daily census of 80 patients across 85 rooms
* Two (2) supervisor references required when applying
* No requested time off within the first two weeks of assignment; maximum 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract highly preferred

The facility supports interdisciplinary care through lift teams and utilizes the Epic electronic health records system to maintain high standards of patient care. With a daily census of approximately 80 patients across 85 rooms, the organization is committed to providing quality rehabilitation services in a collaborative clinical environment.
