RN - Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers welcome
* Local candidates accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS - all must be in-hand when applying
* EPIC experience required and must be noted in work history
* California state license required in-hand when applying (EMSA not accepted)
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* No requested time off within the first two weeks of assignment; maximum 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract preferred
* Required skills include: telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response/code teams, blood product administration, central line care and management, peripheral line care and management, management of cardiac drips (no titration), nasal cannula, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions/PPE
* Charting system experience required; any system accepted
* Manager may or may not conduct an interview; traveler must be comfortable with this
