Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Night shift position with 36 or 48 hours per week available
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients according to established standards of care
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans to attain patient outcomes and promote health and safety
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Provide health education and information to patients, families, and treatment team
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* EPIC experience required
* Willing to approve 1 holiday off; must be willing to work remaining holidays
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor), ACLS (from approved vendor), PALS (from approved vendor), Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
