Open Position: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

* Rotate between two campuses: BBMP Nuclear Medicine and Main Campus Nuclear Medicine departments
* BBMP Campus shift hours: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
* Main Campus shift hours: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
* Schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating call 7 days a week at Main Campus
* Weekend and holiday requirements are call only
* Float between General Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology service lines
* 3 years of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N)
* Preferred certification: ARRT(CT) is a plus but not required
* Required state license: SCQRSA in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography
* Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) preferred
* Experience required with the following procedures: bone scans (whole body and 3 phase), HIDA scans, GI bleed, lymphoscintigraphy, parathyroid imaging, thyroid uptake, renal scans with Lasix, lung scans, MUGA scans, WBC infection imaging, and MPI stress tests
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Scrub color: Teal top, black bottom
* Charting system: Epic
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

This facility is a Level II Trauma, Acute Care Hospital offering a full spectrum of advanced medical services across multiple campuses. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and supports a collaborative environment where Nuclear Medicine professionals rotate between departments including General Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology.
