Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM
* Acute care setting
* Patient ratio of 1:6 with CNA support available
* Every other weekend requirement
* Rotate holidays with permanent staff
* On-call low census requirement with 12 hours of cancellation every 2 weeks
* Must be flexible with changing assignments during the shift
* Float opportunities to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and other units
* Floor-specific orientation provided
* Charge nurse responsibilities shared across all units
* Telemetry monitoring available on different units
* Ventilator experience helpful - facility uses BIPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and Draeger equipment
* Charting system: MEDITECH
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* 1 year of experience required with at least 1 travel assignment
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS

This is a large 483-bed main campus hospital offering a comprehensive range of acute care services. The facility operates with 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy support, an IV/PICC team, and in-house OB and neonatology services.
