RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Rotating shifts with various days of the week
* 1:2 patient ratio
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs - approximately 5 to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
* On-call required per unit needs
* Float required within Women and Infant unit and may be required to float within metro region per facility needs
* 19-room Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery unit
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Navy
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO is not allowed during specified blackout periods
* No blocked scheduling requests permitted
* 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required; prior travel experience preferred
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
* Colorado or compact RN license required

Facility:

This facility is a large health system operating a Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery unit with 19 rooms. The organization provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic as its charting system.
