Physical Therapist

Job Details:

* 10-hour shifts, Monday and Wednesday through Friday (Tuesdays off), no weekends
* Outpatient therapy setting only
* Patient population includes adult and pediatric ortho and neuro patients of all ages
* Daily patient load of approximately 75-90 patients
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* No on-call required
* EPIC EMR experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, Missouri License, Manual Therapy, Wound Care
* Pediatrics experience preferred
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Dress code: Solid-colored shirt with a collar (polo or athletic shirt), black pants (docker style or athletic pants), tennis shoes or loafers; no shirts with logos, no sleeveless shirts
* Special requirements include: Home Exercise Programs, Lifting and Transfer, Patient Family Education, Safety and Injury Prevention, and recognition of Signs/Symptoms of Physical, Sexual, and Psychological Abuse
* Skills include but are not limited to: gait training, extremity mobilization, orthopedic procedures, neurological rehabilitation, total joint replacement care, low back pain management, and post-operative rehabilitation
* Microsoft Teams preferred for daily communication
* Flexibility, strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail required

Facility:

This is a freestanding outpatient clinic associated with a critical access hospital with 35 total staffed beds. The therapy team includes physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, speech therapists, massage therapists, and an activity coordinator, supported by front office staff and a manager. The clinic offers PT, OT, ST, massage therapy, and independent wellness programming, serving a diverse patient population including ortho, neuro, developmental delay, TBI, high school athletes, total joint replacements, and workers' compensation cases.
