Job Details:

* Day shift position working 4x10-hour shifts
* Cardiac cases shift hours: 6:15 AM to 5:15 PM
* Non-cardiac cases shift hours: 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
* 36 hours guaranteed per week
* On-call requirements include 12-15 days per rotation including 1-2 weekends depending on schedule rotation
* On-call can include weekends and holidays
* Minimum 2+ years of Cardiovascular OR RN experience required
* Must have Epic experience
* May float to vascular, thoracic, and TACS cases if no scheduled heart cases
* Patient population consists of adult patients with a 1:1 patient ratio
* Equipment used includes ECMO, Impella, Maze, and IABP
* EMR systems: Epic (required), Workday, and ShiftWizard
* Scrub color: Blue, all other attire per facility dress code policy
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), CNOR (preferred)
* Virginia State License or Compact License required

The unit operates with a 2-bed setup and maintains a 1:1 patient ratio, ensuring high-quality, individualized care.
