CT/Xray Tech

Job Details:

* Primarily 8-hour rotating shifts between X-ray, CT, and surgery with most shifts during days and afternoons
* Weekend shifts are 12-hour shifts with every third or fourth weekend required
* Various shift times available including 6:00 AM-2:30 PM, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, 9:30 AM-6:00 PM, 11:30 AM-8:00 PM, 12:00 PM-8:30 PM, 8:00 PM-6:00 AM, 6:00 AM-6:00 PM, and 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
* Holiday coverage required based on need
* Call/standby requirements dependent on staffing levels; on-call may be required overnight if short-staffed
* Approximately 1 week of department-specific orientation provided
* Coverage required for all areas including ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OR
* Perform various X-rays and CT scans including CTAs, trauma imaging, and joint imaging and procedures
* May be required to use C-arm in surgery for emergent cases
* May float to assist with radiology injections and biopsies with training provided
* Must have solid CT experience; strong X-ray and CT knowledge and skills required
* EMR system: EPIC; PACS system: McKesson
* Equipment includes Siemens 128-slice CT scanner, Siemens Ysio X-ray, Siemens MIRA portable, GE OEC C-arm, and Hologic Mini-C
* Director available during day Monday through Friday and reachable after hours for emergent situations
* No clinical involvement required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R)(CT)

This critical access hospital is a stroke-designated facility located near a major highway, resulting in a busy emergency department and a high volume of trauma cases. The facility performs a wide range of imaging studies and procedures across multiple care settings including ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OR. An orthopedic clinic located one block away contributes to a variety of joint imaging and procedural needs, making this a dynamic and fast-paced environment for imaging professionals.
