Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist

CONTRACT - PHYSICAL THERAPY - PT (762) - 13 WEEKS - 8:00A-5:00P

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment covering both acute and outpatient physical therapy needs
* Day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotating weekends
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratios of 12-15 patients in acute care and 5-6 patients in outpatient settings
* Perform PT evaluations, reassessments, and treatments for both acute and outpatient patients
* Work on the 6th floor of the OMB building within the PT/OT/ST department
* EMR system used is Meditech
* Texas State License in Physical Therapy required
* BLS certification required
* Must have outpatient and acute care skill set
* Bilingual preferred due to heavy Hispanic patient population
* Energetic personality with ability to handle multiple personalities within the healthcare team and physician staff preferred
* Dress code requires navy scrubs; no crocs, visible tattoos, or facial hairstyles that conflict with CDC guidelines for N95 mask wearers

The department follows AIDET and ICARES standards of care and is staffed by a dedicated team of physical therapists during day shift hours.
