Open Position: LPN/LVN - Outpatient

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1890.60

Opportunity:

LVN - Internal/Family Medicine

Job Details:

* 8-hour shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM
* Weekend hours required from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Floating between units or locations required
* No on-call responsibilities
* 2 years of experience in internal or family medicine required
* Travel experience required - first-time travelers will not be considered
* Active California LVN license with valid CA IV certification required at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC only), IV certification, and Blood Withdrawal certification
* Recent Epic EHR experience required
* Strong phlebotomy and IV start skills required
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* Perform patient care assessments and initial nursing intake
* Prepare patients for examination by reviewing current medications and medical records
* Record patient information including vital signs and reason for visit
* Administer prescribed medications, injections, or IV medications using best practice
* Set up exam and procedure rooms appropriately based on patient visit needs
* Perform skills including blood glucose monitoring, EKG/ECG, wound care, telephone triage, vaccine administration, foley catheter insertion, and vital sign monitoring
* Support physician and nursing staff in delivery of health care within the LVN scope of practice in an ambulatory care setting
* 2 supervisory references from within the past year of employment required at time of submission

The facility provides comprehensive ambulatory care services supporting physicians and nursing staff in delivering high-quality health care. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic as its primary electronic health records system across its network of locations.
