RN - MED/SURG

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment on a Medical/Surgical unit
* Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* 14-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:5
* Night shift staffing consists of 3 RNs and 1 PCT
* Work with Alaris Pump equipment
* EMR system: MEDITECH
* Typical procedures performed on unit include bronchoscopy and EGD/colonoscopy
* Scrub color requirement: Navy
* Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
* Preferred certifications: ACLS, Rhythm Interpretation
* Ideal candidate is flexible and a team player

This medical facility operates a dedicated Medical/Surgical unit located on the 2nd floor, providing comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse patient population. The unit is staffed with a collaborative team of registered nurses, patient care technicians, and a float charge nurse coordinator to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
