CT/X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12s)
* 36 weekly guaranteed hours
* Every Saturday and Sunday required
* No on-call requirements
* Perform computed tomography (CT) and general radiology (x-ray) procedures including portable procedures for patients of all ages including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
* Ensure proper patient positioning, prepare equipment, and monitor patient condition before, during, and after scanning
* Perform exam segmentation for PACS archive
* Make modifications for positioning, slice thickness, and intravenous contrast administration
* Perform contrast injections as ordered by physician
* Report critical findings to appropriate personnel and assist physicians with invasive procedures as necessary
* Accurately enter data into HIS system and use RIS to capture patient visits and charge information
* Adhere to radiation safety measures and infection control policies
* 3 years of CT and Radiology Tech experience required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ARRT, and Virginia state license
* Must operate EPIC EMR system
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Must be able to work weekends and holidays
