RN Stepdown Days

Job Details:

* Day shift position in a Stepdown unit
* Minimum 5 years of experience required in specialty
* California nursing license in hand required - No EMSA
* Local travelers accepted
* Charting system: Paragon (training provided)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Floating required - will float in rotation with staff in accordance with unit clinical experience; Stepdown/DOU/Tele nurses may be asked to float to Med/Surg
* Must complete Assaultive Behavior and Fire Card courses onsite within 30 days of start date
* DUI background hits will not be accepted
* Requested time off must be presented at time of submission; any time off requested after offer will not be approved

This facility is a full-service hospital offering a range of inpatient and outpatient care services, including stepdown and progressive care for patients requiring close monitoring between intensive care and general medical units. The facility supports interdisciplinary care teams and utilizes the Paragon electronic charting system, with training provided for incoming staff. The organization maintains high standards for patient safety and requires staff to complete specific onboarding courses as part of their commitment to a safe care environment.
