Open Position: Pharmacist - Pharmacist

Opportunity:

Pharmacist - Retail/Hospital Pharmacy Coverage

Job Details:

* Work 40 hours per week with varying shifts covering days and evenings
* No overnight shifts required
* Every other weekend coverage required
* Open to local contracts
* Decentralized pharmacist model with technician support across shifts
* Perform duties including refilling Pyxis machines, filling first doses, IV sterile compounding, non-sterile compounding, and packaging unit-dose medications
* Answer phones, assist pharmacist, and refill code blue trays
* Work with equipment including Pyxis ES and Dose Edge
* Documentation system: Meditech
* No on-call requirements
* No floating policy
* Clean scrubs required as dress code
* Must have current and active Missouri license in good standing prior to submittal
* Knowledge of Pyxis ES, Meditech, and Dose Edge preferred
* Open to retail pharmacy experience

This medical center is a 285-bed facility housing a decentralized pharmacy department that operates across multiple shifts. The pharmacy team includes multiple technicians supporting day, mid, evening, and overnight shifts, ensuring comprehensive pharmaceutical care around the clock. The department utilizes modern pharmacy technology and documentation systems to support safe and efficient medication management throughout the facility.
