Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* No on-call requirements
* Rotating weekend schedule
* Patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 on days and 1:6 or 1:7 on nights
* Work on a 32-bed Medical-Surgical Orthopedics unit located on the 4th floor, East wing
* Unit staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and 2 PCTs on night shift
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Acute care experience required, preferably in med-surg
* Must have flexibility with scheduling
* Meditech EMR charting experience preferred
* Experience with NGT tubes, IV placement, and foley management preferred
* Proficiency with PCAs, on-Q pumps, Hoyer lift, traction, and wound vacs required
* Perform and assist with procedures including neurosurgeries (kyphoplasty, decompression, laminectomy), fracture repairs/IM nailing, general surgery, bariatric surgery, bladder sling, and hysterectomy
* Navy blue scrubs required
* Strong time management skills and an upbeat, team-player attitude essential
