Open Position: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - RN Cath Lab

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with some days running longer until procedures are completed
* Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are the busiest days with all full-time staff working
* Thursday and Friday are lighter schedule days
* Must be able to circulate and scrub - candidates without these skills will not be considered
* Rotate through cath lab holding, pre-op, and recovery as part of a 4-person team
* On-call requirement of approximately 15 days in a 6-week time frame with self-scheduling
* May float to other departments for tasking if short on hours and other departments need assistance
* Work with GE equipment in Cath Lab 1 and Philips equipment in Cath Lab 2
* EMR systems used: Meditech and Merge
* Perform and assist with procedures including right/left heart caths, peripheral and carotid angio/stents, PE/DVT cases, Impella/IABP, TEE/cardioversion, PPMs, IVC filters, and ECMO cannulations
* Scrubs are provided by the facility
* Strong work ethic, ability to thrive in a busy lab environment, team-oriented mindset, and comfort with call responsibilities preferred

This facility operates a Heart and Vascular Center featuring a Cath Lab with 6 holding bays and 2 procedure rooms. The department maintains a team-oriented culture with a collaborative staff focused on efficient patient care and a low-drama work environment. The unit is known for a strong sense of teamwork where all staff work together to get the job done effectively.
