Job Details:

* 24 hours per week with 3 shifts per 13-week contract guaranteed
* Approximately 5 patient visits per day
* Average daily census of 44 patients across 57 beds
* Experience in long-term and skilled nursing care (SNF) required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend requirements
* Floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
* Scrub color: Eggplant
* Charting system: EPIC
* Required certifications: BLS, RD/RDN
* Required skills include: Alzheimer's Disease, calorie counts, chronic wounds, dysphagia, enteral nutrition/tube feedings, failure to thrive, fluid/electrolyte requirements, food-drug interactions, nutrient deficiencies, nutrition assessments/reassessments, Nutrition Focused Physical Exam (NFPE), nutrition therapy complications, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), and teaching nutrition classes
* Patient population: Geriatrics
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed

This skilled nursing facility provides long-term care services with a focus on geriatric patient populations. The facility maintains an average daily census of 44 patients across 57 beds and utilizes EPIC for electronic charting. The care team supports a wide range of dietary and nutritional needs, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver high-quality patient care.
