Job Details:

* 4x12-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM; manager will consider 3x12-hour shifts
* Patient ratio of 1:4, may flex to 1:5
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
* Self-scheduling
* Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Holiday rotation as required
* Previous charge experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, CPI
* Preferred certifications: TNCC
* Experience with general emergency department (combined adult and pediatric) and triage required
* Treats patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Approximately 80 patient visits per day across 27 rooms
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and more
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Parking at no cost
* All assigned modules must be completed prior to start date
* Attendance at staff meetings is required
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

This short-term acute care hospital operates a 97-bed facility providing comprehensive emergency department services to a diverse patient population with a wide variety of care needs. The emergency department sees approximately 80 patients per day across 27 rooms and is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, phlebotomy, and interpretation services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
