Open Position: LPN - LTC

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3931.00

Opportunity:

RN / LPN - Long Term Care / Rehabilitation

Job Details:

* Partner with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment through direct and indirect care
* Float between multiple units as needed, including a specialized Alzheimer's/dementia unit, Transitional Rehabilitation Unit, and long-term care unit
* Utilize verbal and non-verbal communication techniques when working with Alzheimer's/dementia residents
* Provide skilled nursing services including IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management
* Support patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, back surgery, stroke, and other short-term illnesses or injuries
* Flexibility required to provide coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
* 1-3 years of previous RN/LPN experience preferred
* Valid State of Maine or compact Licensed Practical Nurse license required
* Associate's degree in Nursing or graduate of a Maine State Board approved LPN program required
* Strong teamwork and communication skills required
* Medical terminology preferred
* Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius
