LPN - Medical Surgical

Job Details:

* Work on a 36-bed Medical-Surgical unit located on the 7th floor of the Main Tower
* Patient ratio of 6:1
* Day and night shifts available with both RN and LPN staff
* Float to other MST units based on staffing and patient care needs
* Royal blue scrubs required
* Current LVN license required
* BLS certification required
* ALS certification required
* Medical-surgical experience required
* Ability to care for telemetry patients required
* Strong physical assessment and critical thinking skills required
* Ability to manage care for patients with multiple co-morbidities required
* Telemetry experience preferred
* Prior ortho-neuro-trauma experience preferred
* Meditech EMR experience preferred
* Perform wound care and dressing changes, wound vac management, blood administration, PCA and epidural management, and chest tube management
* Operate telemetry monitors, IV infusion pumps, bladder scanner, EKG, enteral feeding pumps, BiPap, vapotherms, wound vacs, PCA pumps, trapeze, vein finders, and dopplers
