Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* Day shift position, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with night shift option available 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend requirement; days require Saturday and Sunday, nights require Friday and Saturday
* Holiday rotation with permanent staff required
* Primarily PCU with float to ICU
* Float eligible between all ICUs and PCU within Region Two facilities with rate differential when floated outside of primary location
* ICU patient ratio 1:1 or 1:2; PCU patient ratio 1:3
* 82 critical care beds total: 48 ICU and 34 PCU across 3 separate floors
* Manage all ICU-level drips; PCU drips include cardizem, nitro, insulin, and heparin (no pressors in PCU)
* Ventilator experience required for ICU (no vents in PCU)
* IABP and CRRT not required unless candidate has prior experience
* Charting system: EPIC
* No scrub color requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Floor-specific orientation planned for a minimum of 2 shifts up to 1 week with an educator

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a large critical care unit with 82 beds spanning three separate floors, including dedicated ICU and PCU units. The facility provides comprehensive support services including 24/7 respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and IV team availability. Intensivist coverage is provided on-site during day shift with virtual ICU support and an ARNP available for overnight procedures, ensuring around-the-clock patient care support.
