Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1876.16

Opportunity:

RN - Stroke

Job Details:

* Work on a 24-bed Stroke unit located on the 3rd Floor
* Patient ratio of 7 patients to 1 nurse
* Day shift includes 1 Charge RN, 3-4 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-2 sitters
* Night shift includes 1 Charge RN, 2-3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-2 sitters
* Every other weekend requirement with on-call as needed
* Required dress code: Royal Blue scrubs with white lab coat
* Document patient care using Meditech EMR system
* Perform and assist with procedures including cerebral angiograms, left heart catheterization, PEG tube placement, endoscopy/colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, central line insertion, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and urologic procedures
* Utilize equipment including Hoyer lift, bladder scanner, ultrasound guided machine, glucometers, Welch Allyn vital signs machine, blood warmer, otoscope, CareAi virtual sitter cameras, Responder 5 tracking system, and bedside computers
* Must have strong IV skills, wound care experience, and neuro assessment skills
* Stroke and Medical-Surgical skillset and experience required
* Charge nurse or resource nurse experience preferred
* Ability to work independently preferred
* May float to medical departments as needed
* Required certifications: NIH Certification, BLS, ACLS
