Opportunity:

RN - LDRP

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care required
* Float required as needed between units
* Staffing ratio of 1:1-3
* Care for patients across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn
* Perform and assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and circulate in the OR
* Start adult IVs and administer blood and blood products
* Manage drains, epidural pumps, and PCA pumps
* Administer insulin and magnesium sulfate therapy
* Work with high-risk antepartum, high-risk L&D, low-risk antepartum, OB-GYN, and post-op/pre-op couplet care patients
* Charting system: Epic
* Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP
* ACLS preferred
* Required skills: Circulate for C-section, fetal heart monitoring, IV start, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, magnesium sulfate therapy, sterile vaginal exam, OB triage, IUPC placement and calibration, PCA (IV) management, and central line maintenance
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

The unit supports a broad range of obstetric care including high-risk labor and delivery, antepartum care, postpartum care, and normal newborn services. The facility delivers between 200-300 births per month and provides a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment with access to advanced clinical support and modern equipment.
