Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $4059.36

Opportunity:

LTAC MS/TELE - DAYS

Job Details:

* Day shift position with 36 or 48 hours per week available
* Contract options of 13 or 26 weeks available
* Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Some weekend shifts required, supported by rotating call among 6 to 8 staff members
* On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call
* Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry experience required
* Neurology experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* 1 year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills: Complex wound care, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care and management
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of approximately 15 patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Floating to other units or campuses may be required based on census needs, limited to qualified areas where competencies have been demonstrated
* Pre-assignment testing and modules required to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information

This long-term acute care facility provides specialized medical and telemetry services to adult and geriatric patient populations. The facility maintains a low daily census environment, allowing for focused and comprehensive patient care. A robust interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services supports clinical staff in delivering high-quality outcomes for complex patient cases.
