Open Position: RN - PCU ED Hold

SIMPLIFI CLINICAL INTERVIEWING

Job Details:

* Floating position covering PCU level patients and below, with majority of time spent in ED overflow
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers will be considered
* Patient ratio of 1:4 in a 33-bed PCU unit
* Charting system: EPIC EMR experience required
* Scrubs: Any color accepted, no camouflage; navy blue preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach and BiPAP management (continuous as long as stable), invasive line management, ostomy care, general drains, chest tubes, lumbar drains, and IV medication titration
* Must be able to treat CIWA patients
* Patient types include respiratory distress, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI bleeds, sepsis, general post-op patients, CVAs, ETOH, overdose, CHF, post Cath or IR, and CIWA patients

This healthcare facility operates a 33-bed progressive care unit and provides comprehensive medical services across multiple locations. The facility supports a diverse patient population requiring specialized care, including emergency overflow management, and is equipped with the EPIC electronic medical records system to ensure seamless patient care and documentation across all units.
