Job Details:

* Perform STAT and routine testing on blood and other body fluid samples
* Work on the 1st floor of the lab supporting testing for 396 beds plus a rehab hospital
* Day shift staffing includes 1 tech in each department plus 1 that floats between Hematology and Chemistry, 3 phlebotomists, and 1 lab assistant
* Night shift staffing includes 4 techs, 2 phlebotomists, and usually 1 lab assistant
* Operate equipment including 2 Siemens Atellica, 2 Sysmex XN3000 with slide stainer and Cellavision, 2 ACL TOPs, 1 Arkray, 1 Ortho Vision, and miscellaneous equipment such as PFA and Sofia 2; limited micro
* Use Meditech Expanse EMR system
* Must work independently and troubleshoot instruments and QC
* Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
* Must be a team player, punctual, and able to escalate issues in real time and problem-solve under pressure
* Meditech Magic or Expanse experience preferred
* Required certifications: ASCP or AMT
* Wear light gray scrubs (not pewter)
* Rotating weekends required
