Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* No on-call requirements
* 4 weekend shifts per schedule
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* 32-bed Emergency Department unit
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC (must have by start date), ENPC (must have by start date), NIHSS
* Greater than 2 years of experience preferred
* EMR system: Meditech
* Scrub color requirement: Navy blue or navy blue zip-up sweater (pull-over sweatshirts not acceptable)
* Typical procedures include lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
* Must be a great team player with ability to anticipate needs for patients and the department

Facility:

This facility features a well-staffed Emergency Department with 32 beds and a dedicated team of nurses, medics, clinical nurse coordinators, and patient care technicians. The department operates across day, mid, and night shifts with structured staffing ratios to ensure quality patient care. The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system and offers a collaborative team environment with opportunities for permanent placement.
