Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Work scheduled weekend shifts as required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Guaranteed 36-40 hours per week billable
* Minimum of 24 months of ER/Emergency Room experience required
* First-time travelers welcomed with at least 24 months of ER experience
* Must be willing and able to float across campuses when needed including Rock Island, Moline, and Bettendorf locations
* Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year unless unit is closed
* Epic EMR experience required
* Experience with critical emergency drips including pressors, antiarrhythmic, and sedation required
* Experience with BiPAP and ventilator required
* Experience with cardiac monitors and IV pumps required
* CPI, MOAB, MAB, or SAMA certification highly preferred; must obtain during onboarding if not currently certified
* Required certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
* Iowa state nursing license required
* Active TNCC/Trauma Nursing Core Competency course certification required
* Skills checklist specific to ER/Emergency Room discipline required
* Work history/resume with all gaps over 30 days explained required
* One supervisory reference completed within the last 24 months required
* License verification less than 30 days old required

This healthcare system operates multiple campuses across the region, including a Level 1 trauma center, a Level 2 trauma center, and a Level 4 trauma center. The facilities provide comprehensive emergency services and are equipped to handle a wide range of medical conditions from routine emergencies to the most critical trauma cases. The organization utilizes Epic EMR and maintains high standards of care across all campuses.
