Opportunity:

Medical Surgical ORTHO/ Registered Nurse

Job Details:

* Day shift position
* 48 hours per week preferred, 36 hours may be approved
* Team nursing ratios: 1:12 split between 2 RNs, 2 LPNs, Med Nurse, and Charge
* On-call required as needed
* Weekend rotation required as needed
* Block schedule not available; weekend block may be considered
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience required; 3+ years preferred
* Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
* Ortho experience required
* Oncology experience required
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Large hospital experience required
* Must live at least 100 miles from the facility; local travelers not accepted
* Active RN license in the state or compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines required
* EPIC experience preferred
* ADN accepted; BSN not required for this position
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission
* If assignment includes end-of-year holidays, traveler must be willing to work 2 of 3 holidays if all three fall within the assignment, or at least 1 if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment
* RNs may be floated between like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level I Trauma Center, representing the highest level of trauma care available. The facility operates at a large hospital scale and supports a wide range of complex medical and surgical specialties, including orthopedics and oncology. The organization maintains high standards for staffing compliance and patient care, with strict submission and credentialing requirements in place to ensure quality and consistency across all contracted roles.
