Respiratory Practitioner DME

Job Details:

* Provide basic equipment-related patient assessments and coordinate equipment setup
* Block scheduling type
* Expect to work some holidays and weekends
* Care for patients across multiple age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Work with patient diagnoses including COPD and Sleep Apnea
* Operate and manage special equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, tracheostomy, apnea monitors, and cough assist devices
* Perform skills including apnea monitoring, BiPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), RSV management, suctioning (ETT, NT), trach collar, and tracheostomy care/management
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of previous respiratory care experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers are eligible to apply
* Required certifications: RRT, BLS
* Required license: MD License
* May be required to float in rotation with staff in accordance with facility floating policies
