Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

* Work 8 or 10-hour day shifts beginning at 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday with the same schedule week to week
* Weeknight call required one night per week from end of shift until 7:00 AM the following morning
* Weekend call required three weekend days per month with 24-hour shifts
* Holiday call required as needed
* Call response time of 15 minutes required
* No floating requirements
* Scrubs are provided
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Charting system: EPIC
* 11-room operating suite averaging 18 cases per day
* Common cases include orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neuro (backs and craniotomies)
* Must have orthopedic trauma experience
* Scrubbing is not required for RNs
* Some pediatric cases for RNs only
* Work with advanced technology including Da Vinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis
* Manager and charge nurse present daily with no room assignment
* Must pass an open book skills exam with a score of 90% or higher during orientation
* Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
* Must have a strong work ethic, willingness to speak up about patient safety, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Block scheduling is not approved; must be flexible and willing to work when needed
