Open Position: SPT - Central Sterile

Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Technician

Job Details:

* Work 8-hour day shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
* Day shift coverage available from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM with variable scheduling
* Night shift is call only
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend requirements
* One routine weekend call monthly (Friday night through Monday morning)
* One holiday weekend as needed per contract period
* Work in a 6 OR sterile processing department alongside a team of 4 SPD technicians
* Operate equipment including 2 large steam sterilizers, 2 small steam sterilizers, 2 VPROs, Medivator, ultrasonic cleaner, 2 washers, and a cart washer
* Use Meditech and Censitrac EMR systems
* Process instruments for ortho, cranial, spine, general, bariatrics, gynecology, urology, podiatry, and other surgical procedures
* Maintain 1:1 ratio in the OR
* May float to Idaho Surgery Center as needed
* Scrubs provided by the facility
* At least 1 year of sterile processing experience required
* Certification preferred but not required
