Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Work on a 33-bed Medical/Surgical unit located on the 4th floor of the main hospital
* Patient ratio of 1:6
* Float throughout the hospital to care for med/surg patients based on census needs
* Care for typical medical/surgical patients including telemetry, pre/post surgical, cardiac, respiratory, and GI patients
* Work with equipment including bladder scanners, scales, vein finder, lift equipment, IV sonosite, iMobile devices, computers in patient rooms, and workstations on wheels
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* No on-call requirement
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Required certifications: Texas RN license, BLS
* Preferred certifications: ACLS, CPI/SAMA
* Patient-centered mindset with team-oriented and collaborative approach required
* Professional and accountable demeanor expected

This facility is a full-service acute care hospital offering a wide range of medical and surgical services. The unit operates with a structured team on both day and night shifts, including charge nurses, registered nurses, patient care technicians, and unit secretaries. The facility utilizes modern technology and equipment to support quality patient care across multiple specialties.
