Opportunity:

RN - MS Stroke Stepdown

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
* Floating to other units required
* Scrub color required: Navy Blue
* Care for adult patients with common diagnoses including stroke, altered mental status, renal conditions, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation cases, general med-surg, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
* Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
* Work in a 64-bed unit
* 2+ years of experience in med-surg with stroke stepdown experience required
* Travel experience required
* EMR experience with EPIC required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS (NIH certification required for this unit and can be obtained prior to start)
* Active NY RN license required with NURSYS verification
* Skills checklist matching specialty required
