Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Evening shift with start times of 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, or 4:00 PM
* 36 or 48 hours guaranteed per week
* EPIC experience required
* Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinates care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine patient diagnosis and care issues
* Develops and implements care plans to attain patient outcomes
* Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe and caring environment
* Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA or ARC), Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
