Echocardiography - Cardiac Sonographer

Job Details:

* Day shift position working 7:30 AM to 4:00 AM
* No weekend requirements
* No on-call responsibilities required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Work in both inpatient and outpatient adult echo lab settings
* Perform TTE, TEE, SEC, and Structural procedures
* Utilize Definity for echo contrast procedures
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 6
* Required certifications: ARDMS RDCS AE, BLS, CCI RCS, RDCS
* Epic (Excellian) charting experience required
* Required skills include: 2D Echo, 3D Echo, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Diastology, Emergency Department, Imaging with Contrast Agents, LV Strain/LV Volume, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Philips, Portable Studies, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Routine, Scanning Complex Anomalies, Scanning Post-Surgical Repairs, Simpson's Rule, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Treadmill Stress Echo, Cath Lab/CVOR, and Synapse
* Scrub color: Gray
* Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services
* Monthly echo education sessions offered with 1 CME credit per session

This acute care teaching hospital is a Level 3 trauma center with 317 staffed beds. The facility features a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient adult echo lab offering a wide range of echocardiography services.
