Open Position: RN - PCU Stepdown

Opportunity:

RN - IMCU/PCU/Stepdown/Cardiac

Job Details:

* Every other weekend schedule required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Must be willing and able to float across campuses when needed or scheduled: Rock Island, Moline, Bettendorf, and Muscatine
* Minimum 15+ months of IMCU, PCU, Stepdown, or post-op Cardiac experience required
* Active Illinois state license required; must be willing to obtain Iowa license at time of offer acceptance
* Patient types include pre/post CABG, post cardiac cath, pacemakers, TAVRs, Watchman, and ablations
* Drip experience required: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban, and some titration
* Specialty equipment experience required: Femstops, CBIs, and Central Lines
* Experience with respiratory patients highly preferred
* EPIC EMR experience required
* May be asked to step in as Charge RN or Preceptor
* Preceptor experience preferred
* Charge experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
* New travelers welcome
* Patient ratio is 1:5-7 on average on a 48-bed unit
* Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's unless the unit is closed
