Opportunity:

Radiology - MRI

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM
* No weekend requirements - on-call for holidays only
* Holiday on-call rotation every other weekend from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, shared in rotation with 2 other techs
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Work independently in an MRI-only department with no float requirements
* Average of 5 scans/studies per day
* Perform MRA, MRI studies including brain, spine, pelvic, knees, hips, shoulders, and extremities
* No cardiac imaging or pacemaker cases
* Operate Toshiba Vantage 1.5T scanner in a single-room department
* Utilize EPIC charting system and McKesson PACS
* Start IVs as required
* Radiologist on-site Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Scrubs must be clean and presentable - any scrub color or type is acceptable
* Washington state license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (RT)(MR)

Facility:

This is a Critical Access Hospital operating at a manageable pace within an acute care setting. The radiology department features a single Toshiba Vantage 1.5T MRI scanner and utilizes EPIC for charting and McKesson PACS for imaging. The department values self-starters who can work independently with great attention to detail, and orientation is provided by staff upon arrival.
