Opportunity:

Level I Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work in a Level I Emergency Department setting
* Acute Care and Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required
* Care for admitted patients waiting in the ED for bed availability, including in designated areas or hallway as needed
* When no patients are being boarded, may be utilized in an acute care area
* ER holding patient ratio of 6:1
* Every other weekend and some holidays required
* Block schedule accommodations available
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers considered based on previous experience
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Must have prior experience with Cerner charting system
* Must have Tennessee license or compact license in hand at time of submittal
* 2 references required; can be pending at time of submittal
* Willing to float within scope to meet facility needs
* Pending licenses not accepted

Facility:

This facility operates a Level I Emergency Department providing comprehensive emergency care services. The department manages both acute emergency cases and admitted patients awaiting bed placement, supported by acute care and telemetry capabilities. The facility utilizes Cerner as its charting system and maintains a structured orientation process led by onsite nurse educators.
